"Today, during a conversation with President Sergio Mattarella, we recalled his past visit," President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his press statement after an expanded meeting with President of the Republic of Italy Sergio Mattarella, APA reports.
Head of state said that at that time the issue of implementing the TAP project was on the agenda: "There were various problematic points. President Sergio Mattarella's personal intervention and resolution of this issue after this visit allowed the TAP project to be successfully implemented."
