Qarabag football club needs to strengthen its squad with new players, President of Qarabag FC Tahir Gozal told APA.
Tahir Gozal said he is satisfied with the level of the team’s current players, but noted that new players need time to adapt to each other.
“I fully agree that we still need transfers. However, the transfer window is not open at the moment. As soon as it opens, Qarabag has both the budget and the capacity for this,” Tahir Gozal said.
Tahir Gozal noted that following the club’s previous successes, a number of leading players left the team and new players were signed to replace them.
“Very good players have been signed, and I am very satisfied with our players. But adaptation takes time. As always, we have great hopes for Qarabag and we have the strength,” Tahir Gozal added.
