The outcome of Xi Jinping’s state visit to the United States will have a major impact on ensuring long-term peace in the world, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said, APA reports.
He said the Chinese leader demonstrated “far-sighted strategic vision and a broad global perspective” during his interactions with US President Donald Trump.
“This historic visit has enriched the substance of constructive strategic stability in China-US relations, ensured overall stability in interactions between the two countries and opened a new chapter in the history of these relations. It will have a long-term impact on peace and development throughout the world,” Wang Yi said.
Xi Jinping’s state visit to the United States lasted from September 23 to 25.
