The forum, dedicated to the theme “Rebuilding Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Stability,” featured extensive discussions on the global economic agenda, investment prospects and new opportunities for regional cooperation. Azerbaijan’s regional connectivity and investment opportunities, prospects for the development of the Middle Corridor, industrial and free economic zones, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, energy and the green transition, capital markets, agribusiness, critical raw materials and economic security were among the main topics of discussion. Azerbaijan’s existing potential to create new opportunities in investment, production, innovation and regional value chains was presented. The forum showcased the country’s open, favorable and sustainable economic environment for foreign investment, as well as its position as a reliable partner in strategic projects.
Azerbaijan’s potential in terms of developing investment, production, innovation and regional value chains was presented to a broad audience. At the same time, attention was drawn to the country’s open, favorable and sustainable economic environment for foreign investment and its position as a reliable partner in the implementation of strategic projects.
Under the 23 documents signed with international investors and partner companies as part of the forum, investment projects worth a total of $10.8 billion are planned to be implemented. The signed documents cover artificial intelligence, energy, including renewable energy, construction, the digital economy, industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, finance, water management and other areas. Taking into account the projects announced during Baku Energy Week in June this year, the total value of the planned joint projects will reach $16.7 billion. This is a clear indicator of growing investor confidence in Azerbaijan and the country’s increasing attractiveness as an investment destination. Investments on this scale make an important contribution to diversifying the economy, introducing new technologies and innovations, and increasing added value and employment.
