A Permanent Settlement Fund will be established in the liberated territories, APA reports.
This is reflected in the amendments to the Housing Code approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Code, residential premises of the Permanent Settlement Fund in the liberated territories will be included among the types of residential premises classified as special-purpose housing stock. The Fund's residential premises are intended for the relocation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to permanent housing in the liberated territories and for the transfer of ownership of those residential premises to them.
The procedure for relocating IDPs to residential premises of the Permanent Settlement Fund in the liberated territories and transferring ownership of those premises to them will be determined by the body (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority.
