APA's correspondent has visited the Galadarasi village of Lachin, where Azerbaijan's National Hero, martyr journalist Salatin Asgarova was killed.

Note that Salatin Asgarova Aziz was born on 16 December, 1961 in Baku. Salatin Asgarova, who was working for the Molodezh Azerbaijan (The Youth of Azerbaijan) newspaper, was attacked by the Armenian military units near the Galadarasi village of Lachin district on January 9, 1991. During the said armed attack, along with Salatin Askerova, who was covering the Armenian crimes in Garabagh with her reports, 3 soldiers of the Soviet army were also killed.
As the first martyred woman journalist, Salatin Asgarova was buried at the Alley of Martyrs in Baku. She was posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan on November 6, 1992.
