The US Treasury Department announced it is temporarily exempting Russian diesel fuel supplies from the global market from US sanctions, APA reports.
"Today, by order of President [US Donald] Trump, the Office of Foreign Assets Control [of the US Treasury] is immediately issuing a temporary general license authorizing the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the global market," the agency reported in X.
The Ministry of Finance's published general license also notes that "operations related to the sale, delivery, unloading, and import, including import into the United States, of diesel fuel produced in the Russian Federation are permitted until 00:01 April 7, 2027, US Eastern Time."
