"Drawing global media by France into counter-propaganda against Azerbaijan is unacceptable, " Azerbaijan Press Council said in a statement, APA reports.
“France’s biased, pro-Armenian position regarding relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia creates dissatisfaction and worry in Azerbaijani society and our journalist community. It’s natural for this dissatisfaction to be expressed on various media materials and on social media profiles of individual citizens as well. Unfortunately, some media organizations of the world add a special color to the issue, give inadequate content to our society's rightful protests against France's one-sided and biased position, and in the current issue target the state of Azerbaijan and form a negative international opinion against our Republic as a whole. The circulation of the latest information released by France's anti-disinformation group in the Western media is also indicative of this kind of unpleasant intent,” the statement says.
