De Biasi's statements about journalists do not fit within an ethical framework and must be condemned, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Press Council Rashad Majid told APA while commenting on statements made yesterday to journalists by the head coach of the Azerbaijani national football team Giovanni De Biasi.
At the same time, Rashad Majid added that he appreciates the apology of the AFF Secretary General on behalf of De Biasi: “But De Biasi himself must also take this step.”
Let us remind you that at a press conference held yesterday after the Belgium-Azerbaijan game, the head coach of our team used inappropriate statements towards Azerbaijani journalists.
“I have never met such stupid journalists. They know nothing about it, ask stupid questions, and are just plain stupid. They forget about our matches with Austria, Sweden, and Belgium in Baku. They are unable to realize that the FIAT 500 cannot beat Ferrari,” said the Azerbaijani head coach.
