“It is my first trip to this beautiful country, these mountains. I think these people have a right to protest against mining companies, who pollute their native lands,” said the British journalist, who came to the place of the peaceful protest on the part of the Lachin-Khankendi road passing through Shusha territory, APA reports.
“I have been to Azerbaijan 10 years ago. We visited here from Baku by land. Along the way, you see that houses, and villages are developed. Once you enter Karabakh there are again the houses with the same appearance, however, all of them have been destroyed. Houses, cafes, and shops with the same appearance were destroyed. As a journalist, I have been reading and watching the news about the wars happening here, and I am very glad that I am here today in person,” noted the journalist.
