The meeting has been organized by the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The first meeting of the Regulatory body of member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on Audiovisual Media has started to operate in Baku on October 27, APA reports.
The meeting has been organized by the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the meeting, which brings together the audiovisual media regulatory bodies and other state officials of OTS member states - Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as observer members Hungary and Turkmenistan, is to strengthen the cooperation of Turkic-speaking countries in the field of audiovisual media and its regulation, discussion of the Concept presented by Türkiye regarding the establishment of the Forum of Audiovisual Media Regulatory Bodies of OTS member and observer states and ultimately the signing of the Declaration of Intent on the establishment of the Forum.
