It is possible for Armenian journalists to visit Azerbaijan, Press Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced, APA reports.
"If Armenian journalists want to visit Azerbaijan, there will be no problem in this area," Chairman of the Press Council Rashad Majid told APA at briefing held at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The chairman said that after the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation, new conditions have arisen and noted that there is media freedom in Azerbaijan and the door is open for Armenian journalists who want to visit Azerbaijan within the framework of Azerbaijani laws.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizada said that journalists of Armenian origin are also included in the foreign delegations during the international events held in Azerbaijan.
