The survey held among 100 journalists functioning in 20 media outlets showed that average monthly salaries of media representatives in Azerbaijan reach AZN 150-200. 80% of them said that they have personal apartment. No one of the journalists who had no apartment could not use mortgage loan within past 2 years.
“The journalists said that though they tried to use mortgage loaning, they could not succeed. Their salaries did not conform terms shown in the loaning agreement,†they said.
Chairman of the Union Mushfig Alasgarli said that they will appeal to the head of the state asking inclusion of journalists to the program of mortgage loan as social group soon. /APA/
