Some imprisoned journalists and their families write application for pardoning

Eynulla Fatullayev, founder and editor-in-chief of Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan newspapers, who is held in National Security Ministryâ€™s detention place, wrote the application for pardoning himself. The journalistâ€™s lawyer Isakhan Ashurov said a few months ago.
Families of editor-in-chief of Mukhalifat (Opposition) newspaper Rovshan Kabirli and correspondent Yashar Agazadeh will present the application for pardoning on December 5, the newspaperâ€™s editorial staff told about it.
Editor-in-chief of Senet newspaper Samir Sadagatogluâ€™s father and Rafig Tagi wrote application for pardoning, head of the Committee for Defense of Journalistsâ€™ Rights Raset Pirsoyu said.
Neither correspondents of Azadliq newspaper Ganimat Zahid and Sakit Zahidov, nor their families appealed for pardoning. Sakit Zahidovâ€™s wife Rana Zahidova attributed it to the innocence of her husband and brother-in-law. /APA/
