APA correspondent reports that Morteza Rezaizadeh, Deputy Director of the Iranian Quran News Agency (IQNA), said the principal objective of the Agency is to promote and foster Quran (Koran). Established four years ago, the Agency provides news in 14 languages.
He said the IQNA provides 400-500 news stories a day and it is planned to achieve 12,000 news articles a day in the future.
The Agency has 11 bureaus, including a bureau in Azerbaijan.
Morteza Rezaizadeh said the Agency also cover news concerning various fields including political, cultural, artistic, and social fields as well as Quranic activities, and analyze the news and reports with a Quranic approach.
The Agency employs 35 reporters and joins about 200 free freelancers. IQNA also publishes a magazine twice a month. /APA/
