Court hearing on the case of Eynulla Fetullayev continues
“It was noted that he is not in Azerbaijan now. But it is very important to call him to court,†he said.
Isakhan Ashurov also said that the recorded talk between his client and Hajiyev should undergo phonoscopic analysis.
Fetullayev speaking about this momentum of the petition publicized several momentums.
“Inspector Sahib Alakbarov presented audio writing of the talk he had with professor Aydin Hajiyev in National Security Ministry. There are terrible facts there. The matter is that Aydin Hajiyev was my teacher and visited me at the task of General Farhad Vahabov, head of department National Security Ministry. Farhad Vahabov called Aydin Hajiyev to National Park and said that Eynulla was your student, tell him not to write against government. Otherwise he will suffer. Did he not get lesson from what happened to Huseyn Abdullayev?â€, he said.
Journalist demanded to call Ali Hasanov, head of socio-political department of President’s Office, Shahbaz Khuduoglu, head of “Publishing house†and Natig Javadli, correspondent of “Gundalik Azerbaijan†newspaper to court as a witness.
Court staff left for meeting for discussing petitions.
After returning from the meeting Judge Mehdi Asadov stated that only of the petitions was-Hajiyev’s calling to court was sustained.
The judge said that the court will take extra measures for his being taken to court.
Following this, witnesses were interrogated. Head of Security department of “bp-Azerbaijan†company Eldar Nuruzada, department chief of Mortgage Fund Murad Agamuradov were interrogated due to article “The Aliyevs wage warâ€. The other two witnesses-Intigam and Shahriyar Aslanovs were interrogated regarding sale of “Gundalik Azerbaijan†and “Realny Azerbaijan†newspapers. The court hearing will continue on October 26.
National Security Ministry Head Investigation Department brought charges against Eynulla Fetullayev under articles 214.1 (terror threat), 283.2.2 (stirring up national, racial, social or religious enmity) and 213.2.2 (Evasion from payment of taxes with extraction in large amount of income) of the criminal code. /APA/
