Chief editor of Gundalik Azerbaijan newspaper Shahvalad Chobanoglu told APA that the decision on putting the arrest on the computers, which were confiscated when National Security Ministry officers searched the editorial office in May this year, was announced today. Shahvalad Chobanoglu was called to National Security Ministry to get the newspaper’s archive back and inspectors told him that Sabayel district court put arrest on the computers.
“As far as I know, it happened some days ago. In fact, this is confiscation of our property. The computers will possibly be confiscated in connection with the charges on tax evasion against Eynulla Fetullayev,†he said.
Shahvalad Chobanoglu also said that a personal album and other things taken by National Security Ministry officers while searching Eynulla Fetullayev’s house, were returned to his father some days ago. /APA/
