Pardoning of Eynulla Fatullayev and other imprisoned journalists to be raised at President

Founder and editor-in-chief of Gundalik Azerbiycan and Realniy Azerbaijan newspapers Eynulla Fatullayevâ€™s rights defense Committee held a meeting, APA reports.
Negotiations on the release of journalists, measures to be taken in this field were held with the participation of European Parliament representative Dan Slonder.
Members of Defense Committee, leaders of media outlets proposed on the revival of the Committeeâ€™s activity. Decision was made, appealing to the President for pardoning Eynulla Fatuallayev as well as other imprisoned journalists, submitting a single appeal to the international organizations on the journalistsâ€™ pardoning and the state of the press.
Members of Defense Committee Mehman Aliyev, Zardusht Alizade, Chingiz Sultanov, Eldar Namazov were entrusted to prepare both of the appeals.
