Azerbaijani PM: Necessary work has begun on preparation of Second State Program on Great Return

Currently, the most important direction of the state policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is the restoration and reconstruction works in the territories liberated from occupation, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the special meeting dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s Washington visit held at the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

The Prime Minister said that within the framework of the successfully implemented First State Program on the Great Return, large-scale restoration and reconstruction works are being carried out in those territories, modern infrastructure is being formed, and the necessary conditions are being created for sustainable settlement and economic reintegration: “President Ilham Aliyev, together with First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, has been directly leading the magnificent reconstruction works step by step, inch by inch in our liberated lands over these years. Recently, heads of state and government visiting Azerbaijan regularly visit our liberated territories and express great admiration for the large-scale works carried out by President Ilham Aliyev. Today, the necessary work has already begun for the preparation of the Second State Program on the Great Return.”
