Starting from today, the travel directions for Azerbaijani citizens to the liberated territories are being expanded as part of the Great Return program, APA-Economics reports.
Citizens will now be able to travel by private vehicles to Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara, based on permits obtained through the “Yolumuz Qarabağa” (Our Way to Karabakh) portal (www.yolumuzqarabaga.az).
Note that previously, permits through the portal were only available for travel to the cities of Shusha, Lachin, and the settlement of Sugovushan.
Permits issued through the “Yolumuz Qarabağa” portal will be valid for 2 days.
For travel in private vehicles, a permit can be obtained for up to 9 people, including 1 driver. Private vehicles refer to transportation means registered under Azerbaijani license plates and conforming to category B specifications. Drivers of private vehicles must familiarize themselves with the travel regulations and mine safety information provided through the “Yolumuz Qarabağa” portal, inform other passengers accordingly, strictly follow mine safety rules, avoid deviating from designated routes after entering the liberated areas and passing security checks, be cautious at road junctions, and comply with travel guidelines throughout the journey.
Citizens can also use the “Yolumuz Qarabağa” portal to obtain information about hotels and other accommodation facilities operating in the areas they plan to visit.
