A Project Management Module will be developed in connection with Azerbaijan’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy, the Cabinet of Ministers has issued a decree on the matter, APA reports.
According to the decree, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication is tasked with establishing a "Monitoring and Accountability Module for the Implementation of the Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028" within six months, based on existing digital resources. This initiative aligns with the Presidential Decree No. 530 dated March 19, 2025.
From next year, monitoring and evaluation of the Strategy will be carried out through this module. The Project Management Module must include detailed classification of implementing agencies, timelines by year, financial and technical justifications, budget documents, funding allocations, and procurement contracts. It should also ensure availability of relevant data, supporting documents, and sections that enable accountability.
The Center must submit an annual report on the monitoring results to the Cabinet of Ministers by February 28 each year. Additionally, the necessary financial measures should be taken to include the costs of module development and monitoring activities in the Center’s future budgets.
