Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. G-Power, the tuner responsible for building the "World’s Fastest BMW", has stepped it up a notch and has broken the "World’s Fastest Sedan" record in its highly modified BMW M5 with a clocked and certified speed of 228.4 mph.
Its E60 series twin-supercharged BMW M5 Hurricane RS makes a monstrous 750 hp and features a catalog full of performance parts allowing it to survive the stresses of 200 mph runs. Engineers included twin high capacity intercoolers capable of sufficiently cooling the ASA blowers, high flow fuel injectors, a lower compression via revised forged pistons and Speedflow exhaust, to name a few.
amed Mercedes-Benz tuner/builder Brabus previously held the record with its 700-plus hp CLS-based Rocket achieving a TUV-certified speed of 226.80 mph around Italy’s Nardo Circuit.
