According to him, asphalt work is complete and decoration in road sides is being carried out at present.
Reconstruction work covered 5-km highway from Ramstore Circle to Meshedi Ezizbeyov Metro Station.
The 32 meters wide avenue has been enlarged to 45 meters and even to 55 meters in several areas. The highway has been upgraded to 10-lane.
Work is also on track of completion in a road tunnel in the intersection of H. Aliyev Avenue and Agha Nemetulla Street.
The tunnel is slated for the opening in the first quarter of 2009.
Reconstruction work has also been completed in one of the two pedestrian subways in H.Aliyev Avenue.
The reconstruction work in the avenue is being carried out by Taleh AT and the pedestrian subway is being modernized by Azertikintiberpa LLC.
All streets and roads in Baku is 1 500 km in length.
