The official appeal of the Prosecutor General's Office in this regard was broadcast on Ictimai Television.
According to the information, although he was summoned to the Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office on November 21, he did not appear, and proceedings in absentia were initiated against him.
The investigation into his case was completed today. It was stated that, starting from December 10, both Altay Goyushov and the defense lawyer of his choosing will be provided with unlimited time and access at the Prosecutor General’s Office Investigation Department to review the materials of the criminal case.
Altay Goyushov was warned that if he fails to appear for the investigation, the case may be sent to court in absentia and a verdict may be issued in his absence.
It should be noted that a decision was made to charge Altay Goyushov under Article 281.2 of the Criminal Code (Public calls against the state, repeated or committed by a group of persons).
As he evaded the investigation and hid outside the borders of Azerbaijan, he was declared wanted in connection with the announcement of the charges.

On September 17, amendments and changes were made to the content of the charges, and a new decision was adopted to charge Altay Goyushov under Article 281.2 of the Criminal Code as an accused person.
