Entrepreneur Ruslan Eyyubov has been detained as part of the investigation conducted by the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General.
Ruslan Eyyubov, the head of the "NB Group" company, has been sentenced to 2 months in pretrial detention.
He was charged with Article 206.4 of the Criminal Code. (Smuggling, when committed by an organized group, was charged under Articles 213-1.2.2, 213-1.2.3 (Selling goods that should be marked with an excise stamp without a stamp and goods that should be marked with compulsory marking without marking, storing them for sale, taking them outside the boundaries of the production building or importing them, repeated purchase and sale of goods in cash), 308.2 (Abuse of official authority).
Ruslan Eyyubov is also the brother of Hasan Eyyubov, who was dismissed from his post as the head of the Main Customs Department of Maritime Transport and Energy Resources of the State Customs Committee a few days ago.
