The bill “Theatre and theatre activity� was discussed in second reading in the Parliament, the chief of permanent commission for culture Nizami Jafarov told APA.
He said that the proposals on the bill were taken into account. The commission chief considered it advisable for Theatre Workers Union to be financed by state budget. Culture and Tourism Minister Ebulfez Garayev noted that the salaries of near 4 000 people that work in this field are low. Parliamentarian Fazil Gezenferoglu pointed out the necessity of the status of theatres. /APA/
