APA reports quoting Anadolu agency that the ministers made joint statement after the official welcoming ceremony at the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs. Shahin recalled his visit to Azerbaijan in February, 2012 and underlined the importance of Usubov’s visit to Turkey after his significant meetings in Azerbaijan.
Usubov noted that Azerbaijan has established close relations with Turkey since ragining its independence: “We are one nation, two states. Common culture, history, religion and language bind us.â€
The ministers held the meeting behind closed doors.
