883 foreigners deported from Azerbaijan last month

It also conducted inspection in some private enterprises to prevent illegal employment of foreigners and stateless persons and took relevant measures against the foreigners and enterprises where infringements were identified.

It was found out that 1238 foreigners violated the requirements of the administrative legislation in May, 355 of them paid fines and their residence was legalized, decisions were passed about 777 foreigners in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences. According to the decisions, they were to leave the country within 48 hours, 106 foreigners were to leave the country in an administrative order.

The migration service also received 4 872 applications from the foreigners and stateless persons in May, 2012 for extending the term of the sojournment, getting permissions for temporary and permanent residence, getting individual permissions for labor activity and extending the term of the individual permissions. Each of the appeals was investigated in accordance with the legislation and relevant decisions were passed.
