Azerbaijani Interior Ministry issues statement on arrest of members of transnational organized criminal group

The criminal case has been launched into the fact on Criminal Codeâ€™s relevant articles.

Press service of the Interior Ministry told APA that the initial investigations that resident of the regionâ€™s Shatirli village Fikrat Miralamov united with his relatives Rahil Gulushov, Shahin Gulushov and Iranian citizen named Maharram and gave large amount of narcotics -2.80kg opium and more than 2.40kg hashish to Shahin Soltanov for sale.

Rahil Gulushov, Fikrat Miralamov and Shahin Gulushov were detained, they were sent to pretrial detention.

1kg opium was seized from Miralamovâ€™s house, 840gr hashish were seized from Rahil Gulushovâ€™s house.

The necessary investigative and operational search actions are being continued for the detainment of the other members of the transnational organized criminal group.
