Son threatening mother with grenade disarmed in Azerbaijan

The ministryâ€™s â€œ112â€ hotline received information that one person remained helpless behind closed doors in the flat in Yasamal district of Baku.

During estimating the operative conditions it was revealed that Malikyekganli Sabir Rashid, born in 1965, locked deliberately the entry door on the inside and doesnâ€™t allow his mother Gulzar Huseyn Rzayeva, born in 1938, to leave the flat.

Rescuers were informed that Malikyeganli had a hand grenade on him. The rescuers cut the iron bars of the flatâ€™s balcony on the first floor of residential building with special tools and devices observing the security rules and created conditions for the employees of the law-enforcement bodies to enter the flat.

Malikyeganli was disarmed and the first medical aid was rendered by the Emergency Service Station to Rzayeva, who was subjected to the physical coercion.
