Teacher of Azerbaijani Medical University accused of bribe taking released from court room

The judgment was announced in the process. APA reports that his act was changed to the Criminal Codeâ€™s article â„– 178 (swindle). The was fined in amount of AZN 600 and released from court room.

Criminal case has been launched on the fact on article 311.1 (taking bribes) of the Criminal Case basing on the call by Huseynov Aydin Zeker to 161 hotline of the Department to Combat Corruption under Prosecutor General.

Aydin Huseynov called 161 hotline and said assistant lecturer of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Azerbaijan Medical University Ismayilov Mahmud Ugurlu demanded bribe from him for the operation of his daughter Aida Huseynova.

Mahmud Ismayilov demanded AZN 1000 from Aydin Huseynov for the operation performed on Aida Huseynova on October 7, 2011. Mahmud Ismayilov was caught red-handed while taking AZN 550 from Aydin Huseynov in his car on October 24.

Court passed a judgment to put Mahmud Ismayilov under to restraint.
