Snow cover depth reaches 50 cm in Azerbaijan’s Lerik region

Hydro-meteorology station of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in Lerik told APA’s local bureau that rain started last night was replaced with snow today and depth of snow cover reached 10-15 cm in the central part of the region, 40-50 cm in remote areas. It caused traffic problems in the roads between the villages, but traffic of Lerik-Lankaran highway is normal. It doesn’t cause energy and gas supply problems.
