APA reports that the court announced its decision in the trial. According to decision, the appeal petition was partially sustained. Isgandarova’s sentence was increased from 4 years to 8 years.
Prosecutor’s Office asked to increase the punishments of the above-mentioned persons.
As a result of operative measures conducted by the Interior Ministry’s Main Department to Combat the Organized Crime, resident of Shamkir region’s Konullu village Zohra Isgandarova and her friend Murad Guliyev were detained during selling Isgandarova’s child Eljan for AZN 10 000.
Isgandarova was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment, Guliyev to 9 years.
