APAâ€™s correspondent reports from the site that the incident was recorded in front of the 5-storey building situated in Alibayov brothers street 10.

The local residents said that the soil mass, which caused the landslide, was strewed there. According to the report, the dam was destroyed as a result of influence of rain and sewage waters. Sabail District Executive Power involved the technical equipment to the site. The road is being cleaned.

Chief engineer of Complex Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Expedition of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Shaig Niftiyev told APA that not landslide but collapse occurred at site. According to him, the wall built on the roadside was destroyed: It was an old wall built in hillside and reinforced by soil. The clearing works are carried out at siteâ€.

Niftiyev said that no threat occurred for the nearby building and the situation in the landslide area stabilized.
