Ambassador Bagirov told APA that the injured pilgrims were placed to three hospitals. “We visited one of the hospitals and we will visit other hospitals to learn the injured people’s conditions”.

The ambassador said eleven of injured pilgrims finished treatment and left the hospital. “The signed out people are hosted at hotel. They are in good conditions and taking rest now. Thanks to the local officials for their assistant. The injured people hospitalized in the nearby provinces were also transferred to Sivas. Only two pilgrims remain in Kayseri because it is risky to move them. Everything is under the control and there is no room to worry about that”.

Bagirov said bodies of those who were killed during the accident would be sent home today or tomorrow. Those who underwent treatment and signed out will also leave for Baku in two days.

The bus of Azerbaijani pilgrims returned from Hajj crashed in Sivas, Turkey on November 3, killing five and injuring 29 people.
