Chief of International Affairs Department Caucasian Muslims Office refuses information on 8 killed during accident in Sivas

Baku. Parvin Abbasov - APA. Bodies of Azerbaijanis died as a result of bus accident in Turkey’s Sivas region are planned to bring to Azerbaijan today, Chief of International Affairs Department Caucasian Muslims Office Mugeddes Payizov told APA. To him, people with cushy wounds may be brought to the homeland today as well: “I speak about 26 people, except 3, who are in grave condition”.

Payizov refused information on that number of killed people had reached 8 people: “Only 5 people died during the accident”.

Moreover, he noted that Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Turkey Faig Baghirov went to Sivas too. Before him, consul of the embassy Shohrat Mustafayev has already been sent to the site of the accident. Azerbaijan’s embassy in Turkey told APA that ambassador Faig Baghirov went to Sivas.

Note that, on November 23, the bus carrying Azerbaijani pilgrims turned over in Turkey’s Sivas region. The accident killed 5 and injured 29 people.
