Azerbaijani Interior Ministry comments on reports about self-wounded police major

Touching upon wrong information published today on a newspaper related to the incident, Zahidov spoke about details: â€œKamran Khankishiyev is an officer of the main public security department of the Interior Ministry. He handled the weapon carelessly and consequently, received wound. Becoming of such incident into sensation is to deceive a reader, and nothing else.â€

Chief of Interior Ministryâ€™s press service Sadig Gozelov told APA how the incident took place. To him, the incident was recorded on November 20, at about 20.00: â€œPolice major Kamran Khankishiyev dined with his cousin and then sat in car, handled the organic weapon carelessly and as a result of it, he wounded himselfâ€.

Gozelov noted that all materials on this case had been gathered and sent to the Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office of the Republic.
