England's Nottingham Forest defeated Portugal's Porto 1-0 in the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinals, APA reports.
Morgan Gibbs-White scored in the 12th minute. Porto's Jan Bednarek was sent off in the 8th minute.
The first leg ended 1-1. In the semifinals, Nottingham Forest will face English side Aston Villa, who defeated Italian side Bologna 3-1 and 4-0 in the quarterfinals. Aston Villa is coached by former Spartak Moscow head coach and three-time Europa League winner Unai Emery.
The other semifinal will feature Germany's Freiburg and Portugal's Braga. Freiburg defeated Spain's Celta Vigo (3-0, 3-1), while Braga overcame Spain's Betis (1-1, 4-2).
