Ukrainian trainer stated that they have come to Belgrade to pass a round. The 69-aged stressed out the experience of the opponent in European ties.
“We have a young team while Partizan struggled in some European ties, including Champions League. Some of our players were just kids that time. Regardless, we will try to show ourselves in a positive fashion. We have some personnel problem. Two players were injured in a couple of days ago. Uruguay striker Roman Guello broke his collarbone”, he said.
FC Partizan coach Slavisha Jokanovic has concentrated on tomorrow’s match. The 40-aged Serbian doesn’t think of a possible encounter with Turkish Fenerbache in the third round.
“We were considered favorites in both legs with Inter but we did not play well in Baku. I hope we will have a better play and gain victory tomorrow. We believe the stadium will be overcrowded with the supporters who will help us to succeed. Milovan Sikimich hasn’t recovered from the Baku injury yet. Kamal Zaiem is not in a good fit after the surgery. Nevertheless, I have enough players for tomorrow”, he said.
The match starts at 23.45 pm Baku time.
