Rasim Kara: Rovshen Ahmedov’s penalty deprived us of victory

“My team deserved victory in the match against Baku. But the referee didn’t let this happen”, Agdam’s Garabakh coach Rasim Kara told APA-Sport.
He stated that match referee Rovshen Ahmedov made serious mistakes enough to change the score.
“I was not dissatisfied with the players. They displayed good performance. We had many shots to score goals. The referee made two serious mistakes in the match. He should have removed the defender after playing rough against Vagif Javadov who was face-to-face with the goalkeeper. But he showed only yellow card. We would have changed the score with more players if he had showed red card. The referee deprived us of the victory by appointing a penalty kick in last minutes although there was not foul”, he underscored.
The coach noted that he expressed his protest against the referee in the protocol after the match. Nevertheless, Turkish trainer doesn’t consider this a way out.
“The work is not done with the letter. There are many writers now. The main thing is to pass decision on the protest”, he said. /APA-Sport/
