No quorum in AFFA Executive Committee meeting today

There was no quorum in todayâ€™s meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee, APA-Sport reports.
Only six of 13 committee members â€“ AFFA president Ramiz Mirzeyev, vice-president Elshad Nesirov, as well as Yashar Sultanov, Kazbek Tuayev, hafiz Mammedov and Mirkamil Rehimov- participated in the meeting. Baku Football Federation president Jahangir Hadjiyev contacted the meeting by the phone. Other committee members, including general vice-president Rauf Veliyev, as well as Mubariz Penahov, Natig Aliyev, Ali Resulov, Hamlet Isakhanli and Isgender Javadov whose activity has been frozen were absent.
According to the first item of AFFA Regulations article 35, the committee may hold discussions only with the presentation of 2/3 members. In other words, at least 8 members were to have joint the meeting. Nevertheless, the meeting was held and the agenda of the 11th AFFA conference to be held on April 26 was discussed and adopted. The following issues have been included in the agenda:
1. Report of 2006 activities
2. Report of Control-Inspection Committee
3. Financial report of independent audit organization
4. Discussion of 2007 budget
5. Determination and affirmation of independent audit organization for 2007-03-16
6. Other issues
The committee decided to award national team members $1000 for draw and $2000 for victory in the official and friendly matches. From next season on, Azerbaijani championship to division teams will not pay membership dues for under-18 players. /APA-Sport/
