Kyrgyz team refused to play against Azerbaijan in Alma-TV Cup

More new facts occured on low-leveled organization of Alma-TV Cup tournament in which Azerbaijan took 2nd place, APA-Sport reports quoting Kyrgyzstanâ€™s press outlet.
Dmitri Mashentsev, referee of Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan match, didnâ€™t awarded an obvious penalty kick to Kazakhstan in 88th minute of the match. Uzbek players getting furious run towards the referee and expressed their protests. They couldnâ€™t keep beating the referee. Kyrgyz national team also underwent pressure in the tournament. The team refused to ther play against Azerbaijan when they knew Azeri referee Vusal Aliyev will conduct the match. Nevertheless, they agreed to play then. The anthem of Kyrgyzstan was not played before the match. As a protest, team crew left the country just after the match without even participating in the press conference in opening ceremony. /APA-Sport/
