Igor Nakonechni: We proved to be stronger than Karvan

â€œThe result of first match didnâ€™t make us upset. We proved to be stronger than Karvanâ€?, Imishliâ€™s MKT-Araz club head coach Igor Nakonechni told APA-Sport.
Ukrainian coach said they had analyzed the first Â¼ match with Karvan in Azerbaijani cup and made important results.
â€œWe played well at the second half of ther match in Imishli. The visit match was the continuation. We proved that now we deserve to pass to the semi-final. We didnâ€™t step back though we played visit match and in few number. My team can pull itself together when it loses a playerâ€?, he stated.
The coach said it is a pity the team will meet Neftchi both in the cup and the championship. He said this schedule doesnâ€™t suit Neftchi either.
â€œAt the championship match the rivals will be familiar with each other. I donâ€™t consider it right. We shouldnâ€™t forget that we will face in the championship either. We will fight till the end in the championship as well as in cup. I think our chances with Neftchi to pass to the final are equalâ€?, he said. /APA-Sport/
