Yashar Vahabzade: Our group has no favorite

â€œI assess the result of the draw normally. We cannot say we were drawn into weak group. There is no weak rival in qualifying roundâ€?, head coach of Azerbaijani under-17 team Yashar Vahabzade told APA-Sport while commenting on the draw of European championship qualifying.
He said that there is no obvious favorite in Group 9.
â€œIt is hard to name the favorite of the group. Everybody considered Denmark as a favorite in the qualifying matches last year in Baku. But Danish team failed to pass to the next stageâ€?, he mentioned.
The coach said his team has great chance to pass to the second qualifying of European championship.
â€œThere is always chance. The team has no problems in practice which may be considered as our advantage in qualifying round in autumn. Most of players are 16. The future promises to be successful. With Godâ€™s help, we will take one of first two places in the groupâ€?, he said.
Azerbaijani national team is to meet Russia, Finland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the group matches. /APA-Sport/
