Iranian squad declines friendly against Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani under-19 football team didnâ€™t receive positive answer from Iranian Football Federation to play friendly in order to prepare for European Championship second leg, AFFA National Teams Department chief Behruz Asgerov told APA-Sport.
He said Iranians want to change the date of match.
â€œThey refused to play saying they havenâ€™t come together yet. Iranian Federation suggested playing in May. But this date doesnâ€™t fit us as our team will be playing in European championship qualifying in May. Weâ€™d like to play in March or April and seeking for a team to play withâ€?, he said. /APA-Sport/
