Shahin Diniyev: Most players not suited for national team

â€œThe main objective of participating in the Alma TV Cup is to prepare to the matches against Poland and Finland and to determine the crew. It is not so important to achieve results in the tournamentâ€?, stated head coach of national team Shahin Diniyev, APA-Sport reports.
He said he will analyze the preparation of players in the Alma TV Cup. Diniyev stated he hasnâ€™t yet found out new player though he watches the matches in the Azerbaijani championship.
â€œI have seen most matches in both championship and cup in the second round. It is a pity that I have not found out new players. The performances of most players donâ€™t meet the requirements of national team. It is understandable because players havenâ€™t used their potentials after the rest. I faced much problem in this selection as wellâ€?, he said.
He also commented on the inclusion of three foreign players in the national squad.
â€œThe number of legionaries in the team will be reduced. Branimir Subashich drew my attention during the training in Antalya. We need such forwards. I picked Markos Fereira to fill the gap in central line. We also have problems in defense. We have only 5 defenders though we need 7 or 8. Thatâ€™s why I decided to test Usim Ndukaâ€?, he said. /APA-Sport/
