State guaranteesÂ loan that CBA will allocate to Deposit Insurance Fund

Baku – APA-Economics. The Ministry of Finance has today held an extraordinary board meeting under the chairmanship of Samir Sharifov.

The appeal of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for state guarantee to the loans worth 100 million manats and interests, it will allocate to the Deposit Insurance Fund, was considered and approved at the board meeting.

It was noted that Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) will attract a loan worth 100 million manats from the country’s Central Bank to pay compensations to depositors of four closed banks - DekaBank, KredoBank, Parabank and Zaminbank.
