Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. As of June 1, 2016 the deposits in Azerbaijan-based credit organizations made AZN 23,148.1 mln, up AZN 4,572.8 mln or 24.6% compared to a year earlier. In May, the deposits rose AZN 590 mln or 2.61%.
AZN 7.566 billion or 32.7% of deposits was household savings. The savings fell AZN 35.1 mln or 0.46% year-on-year.
At the same time, legal entities’ deposits stood at AZN 15,582.1 mln, up AZN 4,607.9 mln or 42% from a year ago.
In legal entities’ deposits, AZN 6,221.6 mln or 39.9% belonged to financial organizations, AZN 9,360.5 mln or 60.1% - to non-financial organizations.
4,450,800,000 or 19.2% of deposits are in manat, 18,697,200,000 or 80.8% in foreign currency.
