Azerbaijan-Georgia trade turnover down in H1 2016

Baku. Yegana Lachinzade – APA-Economics. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia amounted to $264 million in the first half of 2016, 35.3% down compared to the same period of 2015, the Financial newspaper wrote.

During the reporting period, Georgia reduced thrice exports from Azerbaijan to close at $40.7 million and decreased imports from Azerbaijan by 19.2% to close at $223.5 million, according to the newspaper.

Azerbaijan is Georgia’s fourth largest trading partner, wrote the newspaper.
