Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Agent banks have paid AZN 24,036,000 compensation to the closed Bank of Azerbaijan’s insured depositors.
According to Azerbaijan Deposits Insurance Fund (ADIF), accepting applications of the insured depositors of Bank of Azerbaijan has started since January 29, 2016, and the payment of compensation is made since the same day.
Accepting applications of the insured depositors of Ganjabank has started since February 4, 2016, and the payment of compensation is made since the same day.
The insured depositors of Ganjabank have received over 871,000 manats.
The insured depositors may get application forms from ADIF office in Bulbul Avenue 40, Baku, branches of Bank of Azerbaijan, Ganjabank and agent banks and adif.az website.
The Fund receives appeals of the depositors within a year starting from the day when a notification on payment of compensations was published.
The Fund repays 100% of deposits which make no more than AZN 30,000.
